I’m sorry for the late response. As with most apps: it depends. If you want to make a proof of concept that’s a single page application, it could take a week or so depending on how familiar with web development in general, and if you are using the Inrupt libraries and are familiar with Javascript. I am not sure what a “chat-pod” entails so you may have to clarify further. A word of caution: The Inrupt libraries are not completely compatible with the Community Solid Server in some situations, so be aware of that.
