The public/index.html can be accessed again via the Profile:

https://your_username.solid.community/profile/card

  • Click on the “storage” link > “your_username.solid.community”
  • Expand “public” and “index.html” to access cog icon (“under the hood”) and then delete.
  • reload the public folder and the default menu options are restored.
