Providing feedback to let you know that I found the Solid Pod Server instructions easy to follow. I printed out the instructions from GIT and from Solid.inrupt site and used them to install my first server at home on an old laptop.
Worked fine, and I was able to access server via browser from elsewhere. For anyone needing step-by-step guidance I have described full details on my Solid Pod IT website.
