There has been an interesting debate going on at W3 about making RDF easier to use for the average developer. David Booth has summarised the debate in a working document here. I’m sure this will be of interest to many on this forum.

As an interesting addition to this debate, David Booth has uploaded a slide deck at US2TS Easier RDF 2019 - Google Slides which was used at a presentation. All quite self explanatory.
I was very surprised that only 17 per cent of graph database market uses RDF.
