Should I crosspost updates to r/SOLID to this forum?

For those that don’t know, there’s a subreddit at r/SOLID that focuses on news, questions and discussions on the Solid project. It’s not very active, but I try to post news to it from time to time (around 4-7 posts a week), and realized that I maybe should do the same to this forum.

Should I start crossposting updates to r/SOLID to this forum as well, or are people happy to use Reddit to follow those updates there? I won’t necessarily be participating in the discussions as my time is quite limited, but if people want all their updates here in this forum I’m happy to crosspost.

(I’m not aware of any Discourse plugins that automate this, so think it has to be done manually. But it would cost me an extra minute per post or something, so shouldn’t be too troublesome.)

You could set up Zapier. That said, I think it could be quite noisy if each gets its own topic…

I am all for that, @megoth, thank you!

Ok, I’ll start crossposting. Let me know if it becomes to spammy/uninteresting.

Thanks Arne, this is useful to have these posts in the forum. How about creating a new topic something like “News about Solid” to show that these are articles from elsewhere, rather than in the forum?

I agree with this approach. It’d be very useful to stay tuned about what’s going on worldwide in the ‘Solidverse’ A simple action that will help us all making information easy to find
