Scientific Articles about the solid project

Hello everyone! I’m writing a paper evaluating the current solutions for the current state of web, and i wanted to talk about the solid project. However my professor is requesting that i use a scientific article to talk about it. I can use videos or magazine articles about it, but i need at least one scientific source. Can anyone suggest anything?

It’s my first time writing a paper so I’m not very good at researching material and could not find anything suitable.

We are at the early stages of compiling a list of Solid related research papers for the Solid Catalog. So far we have a preliminary listing of university departments engaged in Solid work. For this listing, go to https://solidproject.solidcommunity.net/catalog/ and select “Organizations” on the left menu and then “Universities” at the top menu. There you’ll find many exciting research projects such as Espresso and Mycelium which have published white papers. You can also try looking at the works of well-known Solid supporters in academia such as Tim Berners-Lee, Ruben Verborgh, Pietr Colpaeret, Sarven Capadisli, Jesse Wright, Josh Conejo, to name only a few.

If you’d like to contribute back to the Solid community, please send me a copy of the bibliography you compile and I will add it to the online catalog.

Hi @theokiwi

The key papers that you’ll want to cite in pretty much any paper on Solid are:

You can take a look at https://imec-publications.be/bitstream/handle/20.500.12860/40806/DS582.pdf?sequence=1 to see how these are cited + how you can cite specs.
