Sorry if this is the wrong place to post.
I’m not an app developer or anything, just a keen experimenter after reading Sir Tim’s book.
From a Joe Public users perspective who does 90% of web based activity from a mobile phone, would it be fair to say that IOS is not really a good platform for adopting this stuff from?
I’ve read about the limitations imposed by the apple infrastructure, but it looks like if I wanted to try any productivity apps, which I would generally use on my phone, I would either have to switch to Android or sit at a PC…
It would appear that the idea of “this is for everyone” currently has a bit of a speed bump in this regard.
I just checked and Apple iOS represent about 30% of the planets mobile operating systems.
Interested to hear from any other iOS family who got anything working?
This is not a criticism btw, I’m just a bit miffed that I can’t easily join the fun.
