While researching self-describing API standards i.e. REST+RDF, I came across this video which ended in pointing to the Data Centric Manifesto which I’d never heard of and sounds a lot like the principles that Solid is built around but for business rather than personal data. Could there be overlap? Is the Solid community aware of this manifesto? What do we think? Will you sign the manifesto?

It doesn’t instruct how we might achieve this future, which is great. Solid is just one option for severing the tie between application and data. Local First offers another approach.
