Sameer Gahlot, a member of the ODI Solid Advisory Committee is engaged in research on digital inclusion as it relates to universities. If you are affiliated with a university in any way, please take a few moments to fill out an online survey he and his colleagues have prepared.

Here’s the details:

Dear All, I’m conducting this research with Asia-Europe Foundation. If possible, request everyone to spare their 10 mins and complete this survey. Thank you!

Let’s Talk About Inclusive Digital Systems in Universities!

When universities adopt new AI tools and digital platforms, do they actually work for everyone, especially those using Arabic, Chinese, Thai, or other non-English scripts?

We are researching how universities can advance multilingual digital inclusion through Universal Acceptance and AI that serves diverse communities.

Why This Matters :" Many students and staff still face issues like systems rejecting their names or emails in native scripts, or chatbots that can’t recognize non-English addresses. These aren’t small glitches—they’re barriers to inclusion.

We Want to Hear From You: Whether you’re a university leader, faculty member, IT/library staff, or a student (especially international or multilingual), your experience counts.

What You’ll Do:Spend just 5–10 minutes using a simple AI-powered checklist and answer a few short questions. All responses are confidential.
