Hello everyone,
The Call for Sessions for the 5th Solid Symposium is open, and we would love to see proposals from this forum.
SoSy 27 runs on Tuesday, May 11, and Wednesday, May 12, 2027, at SQUARE on the University of St.Gallen campus, preceded on Monday, May 10, by a public Solid Open Day on digital sovereignty. All details are at https://sosy2027.org.
As in every edition, the heart of the program is sessions proposed and run by the community.
St.Gallen brings computer science, business and law together on one campus, so alongside architecture, tooling and open-source projects we particularly welcome sessions on Solid and its users (HCI and UX), legal aspects and governance, business cases, agents, and data spaces and wallets.
Proposals are due November 25, 2026 (AoE). Everything else about the call, from the session format to what a proposal should include, is here: Solid Symposium 2027 (SoSy 27) — 10–12 May, St.Gallen
The call for papers, posters and demos follows shortly, with submissions due in February 2027. To hear about it first, sign up for the newsletter on the website, with your Pod or just an email address.
Questions about a possible session are welcome in this thread or by email to fuso@unisg.ch.
Many thanks!
Kimberly Garcia
on behalf of the SoSy 27 Organization Committee
