First we’ll hear from Tim Berners-Lee (@timbl ) and Pierre-Antoine Champin on the creation of a Solid W3C working group and the significance of this next step in the evolution of Solid.
We’ll also hear from a group of researchers from Oxford University about two Solid-based applications: a movie application and a calendar application for scheduling meetings.
Next, Jackson Morgan from O.team will present LDO, a new devtool that makes manipulating data in Solid as easy as possible.

This month we heard from a number of Solid Community members on their latest projects. Jun Zhao, Hunar Batra and Rui Zhao from Oxford University presented two Solid-based projects: a movie application with a social sharing capability and a calendar application that allows groups to arrange meetings based on their availability calendars stored in Solid Pods. Jackson Morgan from O.team presented LDO, a new devtool that makes manipulating data in Solid as easy as possible.
We also heard from Tim Berners-Lee and Pierre-Antoine Champin about the formation of a Solid W3C Working Group, which will enable the Solid standard to continue to mature and grow sustainably.
