ODI Open Call for Solid Projects

The Open Data Institute has opened a call for six non-commercial projects looking to build and test Solid use-cases with social good impact. Selected teams will receive ODI-hosted Pods, dedicated technical support from our engineers, and two strategy workshops over six months — no prior Solid experience needed!

Applications close at 17:00 BST on 30 September 2026, if you have any questions feel free to contact the ODI Solid team at Solid@theodi.org, join us at ODI office hours every Tuesday, or join us for a special edition of Solid world on September 15th dedicated to the open call.

One of our key goals with this call is to expand the Solid community by offering an easy path for new organizations and projects where the ODI Solid team can take them through the stages of building a real use-case on Solid. So for those of you in this forum that are farther ahead, and don’t need this kind of support in Solid, please give us a hand by sharing it forward!
