Hi, I wonder can Solid see our personal data on Pods? How can I know SoLid is not another centralized intermediary? I am appreciate if someone could answer my question. Thank you!
Who ever runs your Solid Pod can see the data on there, unless the data written to it is encrypted (which apps could choose to do, but almost no app so far does). However, you can be the person who runs your Pod, which is a way to make 100% sure. You are also free to choose to let someone else run your Pod, e.g. someone you trust or have legal leverage over to make sure they do not look at your data.
