I am glad I found your post. I made this post earlier." The Authenticity of Data Stored in Solid". And I am developing a decentralized Personal Data Store called Monas, using blockchain to try to manage the state of PDS.

We actually developed a prototype and thought that it seems quite difficult to reduce the gas cost incurred each time a change of state, or operation, occurs. This makes the operation expensive compared to current file systems.
I’m still at the idea stage, but I’m thinking that by constructing a DAG (though a Merkle tree might also be fine) to manage states, it might be possible to achieve consistency and authenticity.
