# Inrupt solid implementation wit Java

I’ve heard that inrupt either plays with the thought of doing a SOLID implementation with Java, or is already doing so. is it a rumor or is there something true about it?

Inrupt did make some announcements recently that you can find here: [https://inrupt.com/Solid-roadmap-preview](https://inrupt.com/Solid-roadmap-preview)
More than that is not publicly known at this time, as far as I’m aware.

The Enterprise Grade Solid server described in the Inrupt [blog post](https://inrupt.com/Solid-roadmap-preview) will be implemented in Java.

The project is currently underway. Beyond the recent blog post, no additional information has been made available at this time. We expect to release more details regarding the Inrupt roadmap and product offerings in the very near future however.
