Hello Solid Community,

It’s our pleasure to announce that the ESPRESSO project is organizing a 2-day workshop on Decentralized Search across Solid Pods in London, (13-14 Jun 2024).

The theme of the workshop will be “ **Unlocking the Potential of Health Data with Personal Online Datastores** ”. We will have several keynotes from academia, the health domain, and industry on the potential and challenges of web and data decentralization.

We are also running a hackathon/challenge on apps to “populate personal online data stores”. We will have a demo/intro on how to write an app on Solid or Dataswyft.

For more information on the workshop, the program, or the venue, please see the link [here](https://espressoproject.org/unlocking-the-potential-of-health-data-with-personal-online-datastores-espresso-workshop-on-decentralized-web-search-and-privacy-preserving-information-retrieval/).

Participation is free of charge but requires registration. Kindly fill out the [form](https://shorturl.at/hkTVY) to confirm your participation.

The workshop is organized by the [ESPRESSO](https://espressoproject.org/) research project.

Thanks for the heads up! It seems like a good opportunity to get started with SOLID.
I’ve sent an application request and am looking forward to it!
